Bangladesh is a developing country but still this country is considered by many other countries of the world as one among poor ones.All the way since its independence from the then west part of Pakistan through a nine month long bloody war Bangladesh has been facing a number of problems and obstacles internally and internationally.
Numbers of internal problems are many which hinder the overall development of the country.
One of the internal problems is child marriage.
There is no doubt that the reason behind child marriage is poverty.
There are many parents in the country who are very poor and not able to send their children especially girl children to school rather they they start thinking to give their children especially girl children into marriage as early age as possible.
Considering the child marriage a grave problem and hindrance to development the present Awami League government is trying its best and has already taken a number of important steps that this problem is solved.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said more in this respect during her interview with BBC special correspondent Mishal Hosain.
